During an eight week exchange program through the University of the Arts London, London College of Fashion, students were tasked to develop a footwear collection that spoke to our individual identities. This collection was inspired by motifs reminiscent of the 1950s American house wife. This Americana aesthetic served as inspiration for heels, with uppers remaining classically feminine. We explored using Rhino to create and 3D print heel units for our collections. Once our concept development and collection lineup were complete, we created tech-packs for each shoe so they could be produced professionally.
