The framework of this project was to make a teaching toy for a specific persona. Research demonstrating the benefit for music education in five year olds influenced the direction towards beats and rhythm exploration. Extensive research went behind the form and function of Seedbeats, which allows five year old children to explore their inner producer. The final looks-like works-like model has functioning technology integrated and thought out play patterns.
